Solzhenitsyn

Today my other half was working at the Caulfield Guineas and Little One was still at her grandmother's house so I took the opportunity to have a sleep in - a massive one - after staying awake for most of the night writing, working on my stories and my novel and listening to a humorous Bret Easton Ellis interview from a few years back.

It was a nice sunny day today so I decided to go for a walk through Carlton North and Fitzroy North, stock up on some essentials before Little One got home: muesli, strawberries, dental floss and stop into the local TAB to put a bet on.

My equivalent of a tracksuit: GAP dress, Zara sandals, SABA purse

Don't flip! My hair's just being stripped so I can dye it a lighter brown. I shall be back to my conservative self in no time. But in the meantime, piiiink!

The roses are looking pretty spesh in the springtime

Sunbaking and reading in the middle of the lanes

Duh, winning
I regret, of course, not putting down more money but as a last minute decision I'm just glad it won. I used to be very much into crossword puzzles when it came to unlikely hobbies but now it's horse racing and sportsbetting. Not only do I have to use the part of my brain that is the least active but there's also money to be won.
